Did you know that Dyslexia has nothing to do with intelligence

Dyslexia is a neurobiological difference.

The brain is simply wired to process written language differently. That’s why reading, spelling, or writing may feel harder for children with dyslexia.

But their ability to think, understand, create, and analyse remains intact.

In fact, most children with dyslexia have average or above-average intelligence. Their reading struggles do not reflect their true potential, and they definitely do not define their future.

And here’s something I love sharing with parents: Some of the world’s most brilliant minds are dyslexic.

Entrepreneurs like Richard Branson, filmmakers like Steven Spielberg, and writers like Amanda Gorman, all of them think differently, and that “difference” became their greatest strength.

Creativity, big-picture thinking, problem-solving; these often shine brighter in dyslexic brains.

The key is early support.

With the right interventions, structured reading programs, accommodations like audiobooks or extra time, and patient guidance, children with dyslexia can thrive academically and emotionally.

A child struggling with reading is not “slow.” They simply learn differently, and different can be powerful.

Have you noticed reading challenges in your child?
